Beware of emails offering money however authentic they may sound

Recently, a woman in a small town of Tamil Nadu received an email from an agency based in the UK, congratulating her for an award of around Rs 1.5 crore.

But for receiving the awarded sum, she was supposed to deposit around Rs 10,000 as fees. Interestingly, she also received letters and documents, which corroborated that the agency was part of the UK government and the amount she had been asked for was mandated by the RBI. The entire episode looked so foolproof that the lady decided to pay the amount.
And now its all clear what was supposed to happen next.
Even I too got a mail saying that
"Your Mail ID Has Been Awarded £950,000,00 In Our Mercedes Benz Promo."
So,please don't trust such emails. They all are fake.
